Cassette Tape Lamp

Here’s a great idea for what to do with all those old cassette tapes you have boxed up in the closet. The guys at Transparent House took a bunch of translucent cassettes and glued them together to make a phenomenal looking lamp.

Each lamp uses a cool-burning neon light source so the cassettes don’t melt, and better yet, the lamp can cast dramatic shadow patterns on the surrounding walls.

No word on whether the Transparent House dudes will start selling these, but I see no reason why you couldn’t make one yourself.
