Korg Nanoseries USB-Midi Controllers

After months of waiting the Korg Nanoseries controllers have finally been released, and I can’t wait for mine to arrive.  Too bad I didn’t wait to order mine as I just found out they are now coming in black as well, which appears to make them look a tad less toy-ish…oh well.

Tonal Plexus Microtonal Midi Keyboard

A typical piano has 12 keys per octave. This “Tonal Plexus” microtonal MIDI keyboard however has 211 keys per octave, and each key can be custom tuned! Aside from the fact that it looks like its made up of Lego pieces, it seems like a pretty cool idea.

Kork Nanoseries Controllers

Check out the new Korg Nanoseries USB powered slim-line controllers, perfect for dj’s on the road using DAW’s or recording software to make remixes. I’m liking the simple look and layout of all the controllers, although they look rather easy to break. The Nano Pad also looks like it might be useful as a sample pad for use during DJ sets.

Expected to release in October 2008.
